We have put together a selection of ingredients that are amazing to use in masks.

You can make your mask as simple or as complex as you like. The options are limitless. Play around with ingredients until you find something that works for you.

If you have a combination skin type, you can use any of the ingredients below.

Measurements provided are only a guideline to one time application.

Tips

  • Always cleanse your skin before applying a face pack. Use one of our DIY cleansing recipes.
  • Always use a fresh, clean towel when drying your face.
  • Your face mask should stay on for at least 10 minutes before rinsing off.


Face Mask Ingredients for Oily, Acne Prone Skin

  • 1 tsp. Lemon juice - Healing, removes oils and dirt.
  • ¼ large mashed Cucumber - Healing, soothing, hydrating, removes oils and dirt.
  • 1 drop of 1 of the following Essential oils: Bergamot, Cedarwood, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Sage.
  • 1 tsp. Aloe Vera - Healing, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial.
  • 1 tsp. Apple cider vinegar - Reduce oiliness.
  • 1 tbsp. Raw honey - Anti-bacterial, soothing, hydrating.
  • 1 small Tomato - Removes unwanted oils, softens skin.
  • 1 Egg white - Anti-aging, removes excess oils, feeds the skin.

Face Mask Ingredients for Anti-aging and Reducing Fine Lines

  • 3 tbsp. Dry red wine – Repairs damaged tissues
  • 1 tsp. Grapeseed oil – Hydrates and can be used on all skin types
  • 4 Berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) -  Rich in Polyphenols (antioxidant), tighten skin, shrink pores.
  • ¼ cup Papaya - Diminish age spots, smooth skin, repair sun damage.


Face Mask Ingredients for Dry skin

  • ¼ large Avocado – Moisturizes, healing, firming.
  • 1 tbsp. Honey – Moisturises, anti-bacterial, soothing.
  • 1 tsp. Blackseed oil – Anti-inflamatory, hydrating, softens
  • 1 tsp. Aloe Vera – Combats flaky skin.
  • ¼ large mashed Cucumber – Hydrating, anti-inflammatory, pore tightening, exfoliation.
  • ¼ large Banana - Moisturizing and feeds the skin. 
  • 1 drop of one of the following Essential oils for dry skin – Lavender, Helichrysum, Neroli, Rosemary, Rose, German chamomile, Geranium, Roman Chamomile, Frankinscense, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Palmarosa, Carrot seed.
  • Almond Milk - Hydrates, feeds and soothes the skin. Make your own almond milk.

Our Favorite Homemade Facial Recipes

    Our Favorite Oily skin Mask Recipe
  • ¼ large mashed Cucumber
  • 1 tsp. Aloe Vera
  • 1 tbsp. Raw honey
  • 1 drop of lemon essential oil 

Our favourite Dry skin Mask Recipe

Our favourite combination skin mask recipe

  • ¼ large mashed Cucumber
  • 1 tbsp. Raw honey
  • 1 tsp. Grapeseed oil
  • 1 drop lemon essential oil 

Our Favourite Anti-aging skin mask

  • 4 Berries (Blueberry, blackberry and/or raspberry) 
  • 1 tsp. Grapeseed oil
  • 1 drop Juniper essential oil

All you need to do, is mix the face pack ingredients together, apply to your face and leave on for 10 – 15 minutes. Rinse off and enjoy! Use a DIY facial moisturizer that suits your skin type
