NATUROPATH

I am often bitten by ticks when gardening, but one day after a few hours in the garden, i sat down to watch the tv that evening and felt something itchy on my left arm.

looking down i noticed two ticks on my skin, but which hours after gardening had not dug in. i thought this was amazing, considering past bites, so started thinking about what could have prevented them biting me.

then i realized i had a teaspoon of finely diced raw garlic swallowed with some water prior to going out in the garden.

this i had taken as a flu preventative, but since seeing the two ticks on my arm that had not bitten me, i realized the garlic had deterred them.

so now before gardening i take my garlic and have had no further tick bites.

maybe these tiny creatures have some sense of smell. who knows!!!
