Not an allergy

Hi Tracy!

Thanks for your reply. It might be eczema too!

I dont know. I am just so frustrated as I started doing nails because I love beautiful nails and cant imagine myself without them!

Im always seeing people and thinking oh this will look good on you or I have this plan for your nails!

My own nails has always been thin and brittle and no amount of vitamin pills for nails or cuticle oils have solved them so I can grow my own nails.

My main thought is, whether i do acrylics or gel i get the rash, but i can put anything on my toe nails and nothing, which sort of tells me its not an allergy.

When, one day, i find something that works and dont let my fingers swell up, ill let you know as im sure that will work for you too!!

Good luck to you and your nails!!

nail issues
by: Tracy

Hi Marlene

I too have issues with growing my nails, they love to crack on the sides when they get to a certain length.

For the first time in years, I've managed to grow them quite long. I did this by doing two things:

1. I use coconut oil on my hands and nails. Got this tip from a friend, who says it made her nails stronger. She has beautiful long nails.

2. I have been taking Fish oil tablets.

I definitely see a difference, my nails are not half as brittle.

Anyways! Hope you find the best solution for you!! And feel free to come visit again ;-)
