Orange Juice Clay Mask

Watch the Video Below

Orange juice is one of the more gentle astringent juices. Orange juice is amazing because it contains Vit B,C, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, copper, zinc and antioxidants. You can use orange juice as a substitute for water in any mask, because it can be used on all skin types.

Before making a clay mask, we suggest that you read our page about clay masks. You can also make your own Hydrolat/hydrosol, or you can purchase it online or at a health store.

Orange Juice Clay Mask Ingredients:

  • 3tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2tbsp white or green clay
  • Still bottled water
  • Witch Hazel Hydrolat (for afterwards)

Follow Clay mask instructions and application process. Add orange juice instead of water. Leave to rest for 30 minutes, then only mix until smooth. Apply clay as in instructions and leave on for 20 minutes. After rinsing off dab on the Witch Hazel and leave to dry naturally.

For a stronger astringent action and slight bleaching action you can use grapefruit juice instead of orange juice. This is great for blotchy aging skin.

This orange juice clay mask can be used as a cleanser and toner on a daily basis. The mix can be kept in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
