The Black Widow is one of the worlds most known and feared spiders. She is particularly known for the red hourglass marking on her abdomen and most of all because of the fact that they, on occasion, eat their mates after reproduction.

These spiders enjoy hiding in dark and humid places, like garages and sheds, and their webs can usually be found on low places near the ground. Because of this, one can easily get bitten, without even seeing the spider before the attack. Still there are some things that can be done immediately after a bite to slow the poisoning process.

The first thing to do, is to clean the wound with water and soap. The second step is to delay the spreading of the venom. Apply a cloth filled with ice over the bite.

Most bites won’t be particularly dangerous but still they can’t be neglected, especially if the victim is very young or old. The black widow bite symptoms can be very severe, when they affect those that are more fragile but the black widow bite treatment can be very effective, especially if done quickly after a bite.
