Looking for a soothing, refreshing and moisturizing facial mask? Look no further than your own kitchen! Cucumbers are amazing because of their anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory properties.
This mask can be used on all skin types. It is always nicer when applied cold. It can be kept in the fridge for two days. Great for getting rid of acne and has a wonderful soothing effect. The honey and aloe will promote healing as well as prevent further acne outbreaks because of the anti-bacterial properties.
Just puree the cucumber as smooth as possible. Mix the yogurt and Aloe Vera gel into the cucumber. Apply to face, leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off and patt dry.
For an exfoliating Cucumber Mask, use the recipe above, but just add a tbsp. of fine brown sugar. If you have a sensitive skin, you can use 1 tbsp. of oats instead of sugar. The oats combination is great for eczema sufferers. When applying this mixture, you should rub in with a gentle circular motion for 2 minutes before leaving on for 15 minutes.
