How to use the Masks Below…

Always cleanse your face before applying. Use one of our DIY cleanser recipes here. Mix the two ingredients together and apply to your face. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off. Patt dry with a clean towel. Use a natural moisturizer. Our DIY moisturizer recipes here.

#1 – Avocado Face Mask Recipe

Yes, even though an avocado contains oils, it is great on all skin types.

It has a wonderful ability to hydrate the skin and also removes dirt and excess oil. Avos are rich in Lecithin and Vitamins A, E, B and K, making it healing and anti-inflammatory. Avocado also contains collagen, which can increase elasticity of skin.


  • 1 tbsp. Honey (preferably raw, organic honey)
  • ½ Ripe mashed avocado

#2 – Banana Homemade Fruit Facial

Bananas are great at healing the skin and have been used to relive itching and pain from burns as well as heal bruises at an increased rate. They can also heal acne and sun damaged skin. They are especially good at hydration and moisturizing. Bananas will leave your skin feeling as soft.


  • 1 tbsp. Honey (preferably raw, organic honey)
  • ½ Large mashed ripe banana

#3 – Egg White Mask

Egg whites contain loads of Vitamin A, which promotes healing of skin. It also contains collagen, which is great at preventing sagging skin. Egg white facial masks are often used to treat acne, dry Skin, sun Spots and wrinkles.


  • 1 tbsp. Honey (preferably raw, organic honey)
  • 1 Large egg white beaten till foamy.

#4 – Cucumber Mask

Why cucumber? Cucumbers are hydrating (containing water and Potassium), anti-inflammatory (contains Vitamin B1 and Vitamin C), soothing, exfoliating, anti-aging (therefore contains antioxidants) and it feeds the skin.


  • 1 tbsp. Honey (preferably raw, organic honey)
  • ½ Medium cucumber mashed (you can leave the peel on, if you have a blender)
