Honey Mask

Honey is a multipurpose ingredient and can be used in most natural recipes, because it has so many beneficial qualities too.

Honey is a humectant, this means that it can draw moisture from the air and put it into the skin as well as ensure that the moisture is retained. This results in a longer lasting, smooth, moisturized skin. Another amazing benefit of honey is its ability to protect the skin from environmental damage and harmful UV rays.

Always try to use raw organic honey!

The benefits of our soothing homemade honey mask:

·         The yogurt contains lactic acid, this will exfoliate and remove dead skin as well as help to remove any darker pigmentation areas such as dark circles under the eyes.

·         The honey in this face pack will quicken any healing and prevent infection due to its anti-microbial properties. It will also hydrate the skin.

·         The cinnamon will remove any toxic substances and will give your skin a healthy glow.

  • 2 tbsp. Melted coconut oil.
  • 100ml full cream milk.

A few drops of any essential oil of your choice. My favorite is lavender.

Mix them all together and massage into your scalp and hair. Make sure you get the mixture into all the hair. This is easier if your hair is wet already. I suggest having a warm shower beforehand.

Place a towel around your hair while you wait. Leave on for 15- 20 minutes before shampooing and conditioning. Try using one of our natural DIY shampoo recipes. Use this mask of dry hair and scalp at least once a week.
